If you’ve been following our journey for a while, I’m sure you’ve heard us rave about Twin Silo park in Fort Collins. With its super high slide from silo to silo and huge shaded play area, this became an instant favorite! There’s also a zipline and swings behind the silos, truly something for everyone.

If you’re looking for some Colorado fun, Brighton just gave Colorado Park a hometown-themed makeover! All of the equipment is brand new and will be enjoyed by kids of all ages. There are climbing obstacles, medium size slides, Colorado signs and, possibly my favorite part, SHADE!

What can I say that this picture doesn’t already show? Tucked into a quiet Westminster neighborhood is this massive space shuttle with USA colors and giant covered slide. The Quail Crossing playground is perfect for your future astronaut!

Brighton gets a double shout out in this list of best themed playgrounds in Colorado, this time with Veterans Park! Your American pride will be beaming with the stars, stripes and flags overhead. The two very tall slides are only accessible via rope obstacles so this is not the park for your toddlers, but your older children will be begging to go back again soon!

Arvada brings the jungle to life at the recently updated Rainbow East Park (sometimes called Rainbow III Park). Your child will love sliding down the elephant trunk, taking a ride on the jungle cat, and jumping past the alligator!

Don’t forget to take masks along with you in case you need to stop for food or a bathroom. I keep extras in my car so we never find ourselves in a predicament and can always stay safe.
