You will be overwhelmed with American pride as you take in this red, white and blue beauty of a structure! Veterans Park in Brighton was renovated in summer 2020 and it is worth the trip. We love a good theme and this playground definitely does justice to our country with its military tributes, stars and stripes surface and flag flying high. As you drive up through this Golden neighborhood, you would never expect to find this structure around the corner. Overlooking Table Mesa is Estates Park and, as one of the first super tall slides we visited, took our breath away! My daughters loved the echo as they sang/screamed down the slide and I loved the amazing view! Full Review: https://slidesandsunshine.com/golden-estatespark/

The slide at Onorato Park might not be the tallest in the list, but it is definitely one of the most exciting in the area. This Firestone playground was a fun find with its whimsical feel and bright colors – we didn’t want to leave! Full Review: https://slidesandsunshine.com/playgrounds-in-firestone/2/

The incredible Paco Sanchez Park is now a must visit destination for all Colorado kids. Two very different slides are what landed this Denver park on our list. First, the 30 foot vintage microphone climbing structure houses a spiral slide inside and second, the concrete slide with gramophone entrance is one of the steepest I’ve ever seen! Address: W 69th Place & Cole Court, Arvada, CO 80004
The tall slide at Ralston Valley Park in Arvada comes with an added bonus, it’s part of a space-themed playground! While your older kids will be climbing up the rope maze inside, your little ones will love playing on the toddler-sized moon rover. Join in the fun by taking a trip down the slide and try out the variety of fitness equipment on the opposite side of the playground. Full Review: https://slidesandsunshine.com/arvada-ralston-valley/
